The Anchor

There are times we find ourselves in a highly charged atmosphere. The whole world including our own internal universe is brimming with a lot of uncertainty. Look within, to check if this is true for you. Add to this the fact ,we have to make decisions that are critical. On many occasions it's kind of a choice between two unwanted items. You may look to superiors, yet most advise maybe ambiguous. Welcome to VUCA times.

Constraints are a constant. So is change.

You deal with all this and you have to deliver.

They say a ship is meant to sail, not be in a harbor.

Yet every ship has an Anchor.

Where is yours?

Smile with the fact that if there is a ship, then it has an anchor. Same for each one of us.

Next time you find yourself in rough weather, feeling distraught for whatever reason, get in touch with your Anchor, feel rooted and when the  time is right ,set sail again.

What are the Anchors that keep you strong ?

The external circumstances may be threatening

It is precisely during these times that we need to draw strength from our values. They have the power to hold us steady and navigate the storms.

Every time our world seems to be hit by a storm

Our values have the power to keep us stable and strong.
